Lady Liberty

It was back in nineteen-forty one
On stage in front of those rooms
Standing proud on a welcome day
A surprise storm came from doom

Sparkling wands waved in her face
And her thirty-eight special bod
Were travelers using silver skates
Pointing their triggers at God

After they chose to fly up her knows
She pointed at their grenades
Grabbed a whip and a striking pose
Trafficking soldiers with first aid

The fearless became Lady’s heroes
Answering calls of her please
Returning from a pied-piper’s beat
All thankful ones hit their knees
